For the average joe who wants something to play after work, I can’t see it holding much long-term interest. It’ll certainly entertain you for a few nights, and you might even tell some friends about it, such is the novelty of the experience. But it all felt a bit surface-deep for me.
best whip in your opinion? ive unlocked all the whips and im not really sure which one i would consider the "best whip" funny enough tho id say the phantom whip (green whip) is one of my favourite whips; however when there isnt any phantoms i feel like sobbing

My favorite is the lighning whip, for the sames reasons than SnakesTGK, plus the fact it reduce the time you need to complete a run.
If you aren't good at juking the Devouring Rage, you can use this if you end up cornered. Best use against the Eye of Agony is in tight spaces or trap-filled rooms, where your movement is heavily restricted.
Be warned, you only get one attempt at each temple and failure or settling for a lesser relic means you will never see that temple again… The cleverest players will use the phantom runs of failed attempts from other players to their advantage and avoid the missteps and mistakes that led to their doom.
You may prefer this option over Wings, as both have very similar utilities in correcting mistakes and circumventing obstacles, and I encourage you to choose which feels more comfortable to you if it comes down to one or the other.

The more successful runs you put in, the more of the Adventure Mode’s four core currencies you unlock — one from each major zone — which can be spent on permanent upgrades, like extra health or a stronger whip crack. The more of these you unlock, the more powerful your adventurer becomes and the better equipped you are to handle Phantom Abyss anything a given temple throws at you.
